Former George Adcock Brewery junction of Thorpe Road and Saxby Road Melton Mowbray Leicestershire
One of two breweries from the same family which were
brewing in Melton Mowbray the first building in another
part of the town was demolished in the 90's
The building on the right has a nice round window hidden
behind the top sign. The building was built in 1912,
I have seen this in photographs from the 1980's when
it dealt in wool.
The two nice houses in front of the old brewery buildings
are currently empty. These homes are divided. I guess
they were not an attractive place to live on one of
Melton's busiest junctions.
