Council meeting Catmose, Oakham on 14 November 2016 commencing at 7.00 pm. Rutland County Library Extension.
Rutland County Council Tories have spent a lot of taxpayers money erecting scaffolding
in an attempt to show the outline of the extension which they wanted to build on the rear
of the County Library here in Oakham. Residents object and their own development and
Licensing Committee turned down the application. At the committee meeting the legal
people said the council had no rights of appeal.
During the consideration of another application Tory James Lammie stated you can't
permit a flat roof in a conservation area. It would seem he did not think the same
rule applied to the councils own application to build in a flat room extension within
a conservation area.
since then four Tories have used one of their old tricks and four of them have called the application to full council. It stinks almost as much as the private computer carrels in the library which look like they will lose the windows.
(Number three was infamously used by a former Oakham Mayor to post his "homophobic
crude and crass" publications about me. He also used it to view massage sites and Nazi
propaganda. At the time a look at internet history showed he was not the only man
using the councils for adult purposes. Rutland County Council has updated computers
and history is now cleared.)
There one other more serious loss and that is the Fire Exit Door from the rear room.
Council meeting to be held in the Council Chamber at Catmose, Oakham on 14 November 2016 commencing at 7.00 pm.
