Melton Mowbray Masonic Lodge
This lodge has chosen not to display its blue plaque showing how
many years the building has been used for meeting on the outside
of the building.
The Hall is not far from the former home of a founder member
of Monty Pythons Flying Circus.
A local man said this lodge is very secretive and 'some Leicestershire
Police Officers are frequent visitors'.
Whilst I was chatting two men arrived and opened the door and
I saw the blue plaque but not close enough to see the number of
years.
It is odd the Melton Lodge is so secretive as it is on the Masons
website.
