Snow Winter Oakham Rutland 2nd March 2018

Last night did not see much more snow arrive. The big problem still in Rutand is the high winds causing the snow to drift and blocking roads in and out of town.

Rutland County Councils contractor are busy with the help of farmer clearing the huge drifts.

Rutland Radio's Breakfast Presenter Rob Persani was late for work as he became stuck behind a 

lorry stuck in a drift at Barnsdale Hill, which is only five minutes from Oakham.
