Last night Oakham Town Council held a training session for all members.
The Clerk Allison Greaves failed to notify members in time.
I received a message yesterday afternoon from the office assistant. Not much notice,
work commitments prevented me from attending.
I am told the session went well. apart from the conduct of Cllr Adam Lowe who is
also a Rutland County County Councillor and Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM
Cllr Adam Lowe lost it with Cllr Michael Haley who I am told constantly interrupted him
this led to Cllr Lowe shouting and storming out once again.
He has since sent a email to some of those who attending once again saying he is sorry for
his poor conduct. How many times can he say sorry?
Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM turned up 30 minutes late and after five minutes she got up and walked
out saying this is not for me. Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM does not like to learn or follow procedures.
I am told the Clerk Allison Greaves once again showed her total incompetence to do her job
when she expressed surprise that she should already be applying some of the aspects from the
training to current council activities. A lot of Health and Safety and Risk Assessment is common
sense there is not much of that among the few that think they run our council.
