Cllr Joyce Lucas Oakham Town Council Family or Public Service?

Oakham Town Councillors received information relating to important data protection training.

Cllr Lucas copying most other Town Councillors.

In her email she states she is not able to commit to anything to do with OTC until the end
of September 2018 due to family commitments.

Is this what the residents we represent expect from councillors?

Don't get me wrong I believe family is important.

The residents we serve are also important and Cllrs have to make a choice.

Cllr Lucas has missed many meetings stating it is due to family commitments.
This included attending a theatre production of Guys and Dolls also described as a family
commitment.

The time has come for Cllr Lucas to retire and put her family first.

Or in plain English the narcissistic, pompous, self-serving, egoistic, megalomaniac should
resign and make way for someone who is willing to give their time to better our community
