Oakham Town Council Meeting 12th December 2018 Agenda The Rutland House Community Trust

I am not sure if the six month rule applies to this item, what I do know is this stupid council
voted at a planning meeting to reject the planning application. The Rutland House Community
Trust breached their lease by submitting an application to Rutland County Council. The Planning
application has now been approved. Land with planning application is very valuable theses days.
The Rutland House Community Trust know this as they have offered to pay more ground rent.
Oakham Town Council needs to get this land valued and it needs to sell it to the trust or leasehold it at full market value. The land belongs to the people of Oakham and they deserve to see a good return.
They receive almost no income from other assets held by this dreadful council.

Since the council turned down the application, unprofessional staff have attacked me on social media
and the trust has had numerous meetings with other Councillors and local residents. I am guessing from comments I have recently heard Oakham Town Council is now going to ignore it's original decision.

I also find it interesting that Rutland County Council had no objections especially when the access to the site is not the best often obstructed by park cars and close to a school and shared access to the children's play area.
