League Against Cruel Sports Oakham Town Council Response

Cllr Adam Lowe who has not got a clue has not given a copy of this letter to the local press
The local paper have also asked for a copy, I will run that by the Clerk
as a formal FOI before it is released.

He has no understanding of FOI the letter from League of Cruel Sport was distributed with the public agenda so the response agreed by the full council was also given in public.
Perhaps if the local press got of there backsides and attended council meetings the would not find
their work obstructed by Councillors like Adam Lowe who does not have a clue.

I am happy to publish the councils response sent by Adam Lowe with the authority of the full council.

Dear Mr Weston

The Town Council have now considered your communication.

The Town Council identified that the Hunt meet lawfully on private land
which the Town Council do not own and as such have no jurisdiction.

The Town Council have not been made aware of any incidents mentioned
in your email and the matter is now resolved with no further action or comment.

Regards

Cllr Adam Lowe
Chairman of Oakham Town Council
Mayor of Oakham

Cllr Lowe said at the meeting if he is re-elected in May he would be bringing a paper to council to permit the Cottesmore hunt to meet on Town Council land.
So if you dont want to see the Town Councils decision reversed don't vote for him at the May elections.
