Why are Oakham Town Council spending mine and other Oakham taxpayers money on signage
for privately own commercial premises?
Surely the owner of Knights Yard charges enough rent and collect a service charge from
tenants so they can provide their own signage and ugly planters.
I am told Oakham Town Council may have to spend more of our money because they need to get a licence from Rutland County Council because they are on their pavement.
We also pay for the hanging baskets inside the private yard.
Are we going to pay for other business signs throughout the town now, perhaps we should purchase
McDonald's Golden Arches!
Whilst I am thinking about it I need some planters and hanging baskets for my garden.
