twice since the outbreak of this crisis. I don't want to sound anti NHS staff but surely hospital workers are paid a wage? the £700 spent at Tesco would have helped more people who live in
Oakham if it had been donated to the food bank. It's good to the Mayors good deed has been shared his good work on the Rutland and Melton Labour Party Facebook page, you would think local politics would not be appropriate at this time.
The Town Council has only spent £12 on the residents of Oakham when it Paper for flyers (Oakham Neighbours volunteers)
The Town Council has also Purchased material to make scrubs for the Rutland Care Village, I think this is a good thing although it does seem a shame that one of the countries leading privately owned care home providers has to rely on handouts from a Town Council.

Its good see the Town Council has paid £3,000 for the toilets in church street to be cleaned twice in March even though they have been closed.
In March The Town Council also paid £3038.00 rent for its new Long Row Offices even though it has not move into them.
It is a great shame there is not a agenda item for Councillor to suggest more ways they can assist the residents of Oakham and perhaps another question why a council that is doing almost nothing is still
paying its clerk over £2,000 a month.
