Cllr Paul Ainsley has resigned from Oakham Town Council.
Paul used to admin the council website, because the Clerk is not able to basic admin tasks.
So his name will remain for some time on the website.
It is a disgrace that the residents of the town have to continue to pay this Clerk thousands of
pounds a year, when she is incapable of carrying out the basic tasks you would expect a Clerk
to do.
Once again Oakham Town Council is considering employing an admin assistant to do most if not
all the duties and responsibilities that would normally be expected of a Clerk.
One Councillor sent me a reply to a message I sent them I won't state there name, but I wonder
if what they are saying is true and I know it is, why is the Clerk still employed by the council.
Why did they not get rid of her when she lied to Leicestershire Police?
Message from a Councillor:
'I do agree that the clerk only does what she wants to do and not always what the council want.'
What also needs to be asked here is how has the Town Council found itself in a position where
a Clerk can ignore requests to do things, The rules are very clear the Clerk is meant to follow instructions from the full council.
It is a disgrace that residents have to pay this person to do nearly nothing, dog walk and play golf.
