Dawn French Drove Me Up The Wall On Rutland Radio "No Peeking" Greatest Hits Radio Simon Ross Breakfast DJ

Dawn French has been driving me up the wall for ages with a count down for the new name for
Rutland Radio. That of course is a fib. Greatest Hits Radio is not in anyway Rutland Radio.
Rutland Radio like many local radio station across the country has been destroyed by bauer media,
they are not the only large company that has done this over the years, Global is another to name one other.

This Tuesday morning for those who will be listening they will join a very local breakfast show
hosted by 'Rossie' Simon Ross who broadcast to a large part of the country.

The video above gives examples of how 'Rossie' sounds to the listeners.

Simon grew up in Northern Ireland and attended St Patricks Primary School, St Patricks Grammar School, Armagh Technical College and The College of Business Studies Belfast.
growing up In the 70’s he  was a fan of the Boomtown Rats and in the 80’s Duran Duran 'for his sins!'

Now he describes himself as a radio legend, big Irish chef and all round good bloke!

He’s been a professional broadcaster for over twenty five years, having worked at stations such as Rock FM in Preston, Capital FM London  and Radio Aire in Leeds.  He also presented the breakfast and mid-morning shows on Radio City 96.7 for over ten years.

Greatest Hits have dug up Janice Long they say she helped make famous, every Saturday afternoon on Greatest Hits Radio.

Those who may listen to Greatest Hits Radio will find a lot of old BBC presenters, One can only assume they lack a good pension from the BBC or just topping it up at Greatest Hits.
