Proposed by Cllr Romney, seconded by Cllr Neal and resolved with 3 votes for and 1
abstention to confirm the Minutes of the Staffing committee held on 19th November 2019,
as a true record of that meeting

Proposed by Cllr Romney, seconded by Cllr Lowe and unanimously resolved to exclude
the Public and Press during consideration of item 6 on the agenda, due to the
confidential nature of the matter to be discussed

05/20 APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL MEMBER OF STAFF

(a) Proposed by Cllr Romney, seconded by Cllr Wadsworth and unanimously resolved
to accept the Terms and Conditions of Employment, Deputy Clerk job description
and the rate of pay in accordance with the current NJC Salary point 12.

(b) Proposed by Cllr Romney, seconded by Cllr Wadsworth and unanimously resolved
that a recommendation is made to Council that they would like to offer the vacancy
of Deputy Clerk to Kathy Geraghty

The Chairman thanked everyone for their contributions and closed the meeting at 16.46
