Win a bottle of Pol Roger champagne 'Our politicians are not listening to the people of Rutland'
Fight 4 Rutland is running a caption competition and offering probably the cheaper £39 bottle
of what was apparently Winston Churchill's Favourite Brand of Champagne.
Details:
Despite vocal opposition from Rutlanders, Rutland County Council are continuing with the plan to build a New Town larger than Uppingham at St George’s Barracks.
A picture tells the story better than 1000 words, so we commissioned a cartoon from local cartoonist John Elson, which features the main characters in this evolving drama.
F4R are releasing one cartoon character every few days during the Regulation 19 consultation period.
2 weeks before the close we will show the complete cartoon and launch a competition for the best caption.
The Regulation 19 consultation period has been extended to Nov 6.
On this date we will announce the winning caption and the winner will receive a bottle of Pol Roger champagne. Don’t forget to make your response to the consultation on the Local Plan. This is the last chance to make representations about the Plan. Contact F4R if you need advice on how to respond to the Plan
Thanks for your support
