Story Tellers Chair Is This Oakham Town Councils New Outdoor Chamber Barleythorpe Field Oakham Rutland
It has been suggested that this new feature on Barleythorpe Field is a Covid compliant
out door council chamber for Oakham Town Council.
The Deputy Mayor assures me it is not, and it's a story tellers seat.
I think it could also be used for out door meeting and talks.
Perhaps Oakham's very own speakers corner.
If it was used for council meetings I understood the Mayor of Oakham would be expecting
all members to use the nearby newly installed fitness equipment before the start of meetings.
