Rutland County Council is resurfacing a number of Rutland Roads this month.
Tarmac Resurfacing in Oakham Rutland, I always wonder why drivers seem to think that road closed signs don't actually mean road closed?
What a mess is being made of the pavements, the contractors have poured a sticky black mess over the old surface. In places you can still see the old tarmac. Recently the council paid to clean up the edges of all the pavements and a good job was completed, not this black gunge has spoilt that job, When I first moved to Oakham many years ago, a similar bodge job was done and it cost the council, after residents claimed for damage to their carpets.
I wish Wilko would not send these giant lorries to deliver here in Oakham for the last two years, I have seen one of their lorries damage our Christmas Light due to the height the lorry.
