Good News, woman who was stabbed in Oakham Rutland back in January Emma Wolfenden is now awake and recovering in hospital.
Charles Wolfenden posted on Facebook today:
Emma is awake now and mouthing words. She can't speak yet, because of a recent operation on her throat and a reliance of additional oxygen, but she's aware and communicating 👍. It shouldn't be long now before she can come off the ventilator completely.
Overall, a massive improvement over the last two weeks and we're super happy with her progress, the doctors are also impressed. She's still a super poorly girl, but all these advances are a positive step. Emma you're doing a great job and long may it continue.
