Oakham Town Council RECREATION AND PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY 26TH MAY 2021 HAS BEEN CANCELLED
This was meant to be the first meeting held in the new costly Long Row Offices and the first meeting open to the public in over a year due to Covid.
There had been a lot of social media and press coverage, it would have been the first meeting chaired by Oakham's new Mayor.
Lack of business once again highlights the pointless need for this costly Town Council. It would be better if like the majority of Towns up and down the land if it was abolished.
At least the new £5,500 Mayors chain wont get dusty.
