Cllr Adam Lowe Rutland County Councillor Resigns An election will be held to fill the vacancy within thirty-five days, after the required notice is made in writing to the Returning Officer by two local government electors.

A vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Oakham North West Ward of Rutland County Council District Council, following the resignation of Councillor Adam Lowe.

Cllr Lowe has been contacted for a comment.


Cllr Lowe submitted his resignation from Rutland County Council in writing on 

Wednesday 8 September, effective immediately.

An election will be held to fill the vacancy within thirty-five days, after the required notice is made in writing to the Returning Officer by two local government electors.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

Under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972

that a vacancy exists in the Office of Councillor for the

Oakham North West Ward of the Rutland County Council

District Council arising from the resignation of Adam Lowe.

After the required notice requesting an election to fill the

vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at

Catmose, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HP by TWO local

government electors for the area of Rutland an election

will be held to fill the vacancy within thirty five days

computed in accordance with Section 243 of the Act.
