Marks & Spencer Scan & Shop Mobile App used at Leicester Store
This is the second time I have used the M&S Scan & Shop app. First time was at their Peterborough store at the Brotherhood retail park, on that day the app would not let me purchase any reduced items and a couple of other products. You can't buy wine and spirits. There is a maximum spend of £45.
This time I used the app in the Leicester store, there was no problem with reduced items. There was a issue with being charged three times for one item and two times for another item, It appears to have been caused by not taking the item away from the from camera as soon as the item has been found. The problem is the app can take some time to find a item and once found, if the camera can still see the item it will carry on scanning until it cant be seen anymore. As you can see in the video, you can check the list and amend any item quantity. The video has been edited to speed up things.
