Rick Wilson New Green Party Rutland County Councillor has spoken out against proposed solar farm
Cllr Rick Wilson believes his clear opposition to the proposed Mallard Pass solar farm development is one of the reasons he won yesterdays Ryhall and Casterton By-Election, he won by just 13 votes.
This planning application has certainly caused some issues the previous ward Councillor resigned from the Tory Group after he also objected to the solar farm.
The local MP who is Tory, Alicia Kearns is currently battling against the project.
The other issue Cllr Wilson feels strongly about is a proposal to build 650 homes at Quarry Farm on the edge of Rutland and Lincolnshire.
