Proclamation of accession of Charles III at Oakham Castle Rutland.  The High Sheriff of Rutland, Geoff Thompson was introduced by Dr Sarah Furness, Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland. The Proclamation was read and the National Anthem God Save the King was sung. At the end of the ceremony the flag was lowered for Queen Elizabeth II. Music Oakham School. Many people attended this historic event.
