Harringworth Christmas Artisan Market

Saturday, November 19th, 2022

1:00pm - 5:00pm

St John The Baptist Church, Harringworth, NN17 3AF

Showcasing local artisans, plus Made in Harringworth produce and delicious afternoon tea and mulled wine - join us for a special Christmas shopping experience.

Harringworth village on the Rutland Northamptonshire border, famously the location of the Harringworth Viaduct, have been rethinking their traditional Christmas Bazaar. In recent years and through the pandemic, many of us turned our hand to creative pursuits and hobbies. For some, these new hobbies turned into small businesses. At the same time consumers have become more inspired to shop locally and support small independent businesses. Social media has inspired our creativity and driven our desire to source more thoughtful and meaningful gifts.

With this in mind the team who organise the Christmas Bazaar saw this as an opportunity to reinvent this event; which was last held in 2018. They plan to shine a light on some of these creative businesses. So things are going to look a little different this year.

On Saturday 19th November from 13.00 – 17.00, Harringworth will showcase their first ever Christmas Artisan Market. You will still be able to pick up your beautifully labelled "Made in Harringworth” local produce and gifts including jam, chutney, Christmas bulbs and delicious homemade cakes. As ever the Harringworth Hamper Raffle will be centre stage filled with food, wine, tea and more.

This year you will also be able to pick up beautiful Liberty print accessories, handmade Christmas wreaths and stunning handcrafted wooden grazing boards, and so much more. Not to mention Harringworth afternoon tea with cakes, scones, mince pies and mulled wine.

Please come along to support these creative businesses and let us put you in the Christmas spirit.

These are just a few of our artisans attending this year.
