Biodiversity and solar farms: An insightful experience during our placement year, Eveley Solar Farm just outside of Stockbridge (completed in 2016) and Solar Light Solar Farm in Sulhamstead Abbots (currently under construction). The Issue of Mallard Pass Rutland

Solar farms are currently a big topic here in Rutland, with the the proposal of Mallard Pass Solar Farm.

Some of the nearby residents have been objecting and the MP for Rutland and Melton supports them.



I don't object to Alicia supporting this small group of residents. 

When did Alicia consult all the residents?

Residents can now have their say for or against via the planning inspectorate.

The Mallard Pass Action Group has a very odd strapline, 'Yes to solar, NO to Mallard Pass' this is surely a case of not in my back garden? This is denied in a BBC news report.
