The Jerusalem Archway, Egerton Lodge Memorial Gardens Melton Mowbray Restored after drunk driver crashed into the arch in 2021, Stone Bridge Damaged Again.

A drunk driver crashed into the old stone archway at Egerton Lodge Memorial Gardens in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England, on 20th June, 2021. 

The archway, which dates from about 1480, is all that has survived of the Manor Property of the Order of St John of Jerusalem in this town. It is a Grade II listed building.

The Arch has stood in Melton for more than 500 years at various locations,

The nearby stone bridge is often hit by drivers, it has been hit once again.
