Uffington Scarecrows 2023

Sunday 30 April and Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 11am to 4pm

Join Uffington’s Royal Family of Scarecrows over the May Bank Holiday. With the theme of Royalty, subjects from Uffington and beyond have put together a parade of scarecrows fit for a king.

Alongside the 40+ Scarecrows trail, a Dog Show will be held on Sunday (see poster attached). New this year is Uffington’s “The Piano” in Church). Organised by volunteers, you can enjoy homemade cakes, books, plants, railways, alpacas, face painting , crafts ,tractors, tombolas, BBQs , welly wanging ,classic cars, trips up the church tower, coconut shy, bouncy castle- all the fun you can handle for just £5 a car including quiz sheet. Only £2.50 per quiz sheet, without a car. We have been promised a Hurricane – but only those with pilots.

All proceeds go to support our local clubs and historic buildings. Villagers work very hard organising the festival , so come , bring your family and have a right royal time. This year you get to vote for your favourite scarecrow. Corgis (and other dogs) welcome.

You can pay by cash or card at most attractions.
