Exciting news! The Banking Hub is opening its doors at 43 High Street, Oakham, Rutland. occupying the former Lloyds bank building. This one-stop shop for all your banking needs will be operated by the Post Office, making it familiar and convenient. Whether you're a Barclays customer, a NatWest regular, or prefer Santander, HSBC, or Lloyds, you'll be able to handle everyday cash transactions like deposits and withdrawals seamlessly, Monday through Friday.

The former Lloyds Bank Oakham was originally a TSB Bank
then Lloyds TSB before finally becoming LLoyds Bank

But that's not all! The Banking Hub goes the extra mile by offering dedicated support from Community Bankers. Need help with a more complex issue specific to your bank? Simply visit on the corresponding day:

Monday: Barclays experts are on hand.

Tuesday: NatWest is here to assist.

Wednesday: Santander specialists are ready to help.

Thursday: Lloyds representatives are available.

Friday: Get personalised support from HSBC.

This innovative approach ensures you receive the specialized assistance you need, right when you need it. The Banking Hub is a game-changer for our community, especially for those who rely on cash and face-to-face banking services. I, like many others, eagerly await its opening and the positive impact it will have on our local landscape.

You won't be able to access other Post Office services at Banking Hubs besides banking and bills
While they’re operated by Post Office, Banking Hubs aren’t regular Post Office branches.

This means services like posting letters and parcels, insurance products, travel money as well as identity services like passports, aren’t available in the hubs. As the Post Office Logo features prominently in all signage this may initially cause some confussion.
