Rutland Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Retires After Two Decades of Service

PSCO Diana Freeman and Former PCSO Nicole Welsh

PCSO Diana Freeman has served her last day on the local force

PCSO Freeman, who was based in Oakham, has been a familiar face to many people in Rutland over the years. She has been involved in a wide range of community policing initiatives, including crime prevention, road safety, and supporting victims of crime.

A Dedicated Public Servant

She has also been a valuable member of the Rutland Neighbourhood Policing Team, working closely with officers and staff to tackle local issues and keep the community safe.

Farewell to a Valued Colleague

Inspector Darren Richardson, Area Commander for Rutland, said: "PCSO Freeman has been a dedicated and valued member of the Rutland policing team. She has made a significant contribution to keeping our community safe and will be greatly missed by her colleagues and the wider community."

A New Chapter for PCSO Freeman

PCSO Freeman said: "I have enjoyed my time working as a PCSO in Rutland and I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the community. I am looking forward to retirement and spending more time with my family and friends."

A Community Well-Served

PCSO Freeman's retirement marks the end of an era for Rutland policing. However, her legacy will live on in the many people she has helped over the years.

I wish her all the best for the future.
