A diamond engagement ring, lost at Cambridge Extra Services A14 near Cambridge, has found its way back to its rightful owner thanks to the power of Facebook and the kindness of a stranger.

Lost Diamond Ring Finds Way Home Thanks to Facebook

A diamond engagement ring, lost at Cambridge Extra Services  A14 near Cambridge, has found its way back to its rightful owner thanks to the power of Facebook and the kindness of a stranger. The heart-warming story began when Jules Naybur from Diss, Norfolk, was traveling home and stopped at Cambridge Extra Services A14 and spotted a glint of metal on ground. Upon closer inspection, Jules discovered it was a stunning diamond engagement ring.

Knowing the sentimental value of such a find, Jules decided to take to Facebook in an attempt to reunite the ring with its owner. She posted a picture of the ring, along with a detailed description of where she found it, and appealed to the Cambridge community for help.

Within hours, Jules's post had been shared hundreds of times, reaching a distraught Georgina Suddes, who lives in Cambridge. Georgina had lost. She immediately contacted Jules, and after a few tearful confirmations, it was clear the ring was indeed hers.

Overjoyed by the news, Georgina has arranged to meet Jules at Cambridge Extra Services, the very spot where the ring was found. "I was absolutely distraught when I lost the ring," Georgina shared. "It's not just a piece of jewellery, it's a symbol of my love and commitment to my partner. I can't thank Jules enough for her kindness and perseverance in finding me."

Jules, equally touched "I'm just glad the ring is back where it belongs. It shows the power of community and the amazing things that can happen when people come together."

This heart-warming story is a testament to the strength of social media in facilitating good deeds. It also serves as a reminder of the kindness and generosity that can be found in unexpected places. Thanks to Jules's quick thinking and the power of Facebook, ensuring that a priceless symbol of love found its way back home.

I recently experienced the positive power of social media! a Mum was expecting a Christmas parcel from her son. The parcel was delivered to my Oakham home by mistake by the Royal Mail just before Christmas. The local Facebook community informed her and she contacted me and received her parcel in time for Christmas.
