Calling All Young Artists in Rutland: Draw a Corgi!
Attention all budding artists in Rutland! Here's your chance to be part of a royally pawsome event!
The unveiling of a new statue of the Queen is happening later this month, and to celebrate, organisers are looking for two special guests: Corgi artists!
That's right! Grab your pens and pencils and get creative and produce the best picture ever of a Corgi. The two winning artists will have the incredible honor of unveiling the two bronze statues of corgis that will accompany the Queen's statue at the ceremony!
Here's the woof on how to enter:
Draw your most amazing Corgi picture.
Make sure to include your name, age, school, and contact information on the back of your artwork.
Drop off your entry at Rutland County Library in Oakham by April 12th.
The big bonus? A famous portrait painter named Alastair Adams will be judging all the entries! The winning pictures will even be professionally framed.
So, what are you waiting for? Unleash your inner artist and design a Corgi that the Queen herself would have been proud of!
Don't forget: The deadline is April 12th, entries go to the Library in Oakham and good luck!
