Peterborough Pride bounced back from a slight delay with a vibrant and joyous celebration of the city's LGBTQ+ community. Video, Pride March, Stanley Park.

Peterborough Pride bounced back from a slight delay with a vibrant and joyous celebration of the city's LGBTQ+ community. The march, though starting a bit later due to a police incident involving an arrest, exploded with colour and energy as it snaked its way through the city centre. The cathedral grounds echoed with cheers as the parade progressed, culminating in a fantastic finish at The Green Backyard on Oundle Road.

There, under the summer sky, the true spirit of Peterborough Pride shone. Entertainment acts had the crowd moving and grooving, while a vast array of refreshments kept everyone fuelled for the festivities. Informative stalls offered valuable resources for the community, and a lively market filled with unique crafts and merchandise delighted eager shoppers.

The initial delay, though unexpected, couldn't dampen the overall mood. Instead, it seemed to strengthen the community's resolve to celebrate inclusivity and love.

Peterborough Pride proved once again to be a day of unity, joy, and pride for all.
