New Veterans Coffee Morning Launches in Oakham this July
Great news for veterans in Oakham! A brand new coffee morning aimed at supporting local veterans will be launching this July.
Rutland, with its long military history, boasts a vibrant community of active and former service personnel. These veterans already enjoy established gatherings like the monthly Rutland Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club and the local Royal British Legion branch. This new coffee morning adds another opportunity for veterans to connect.
The new coffee mornings will be held at the Tesco store on Oakham's South Street, in the store's community room. They will take place on the second Wednesday of every month from 10am to 12pm.
The initiative is supported by The Lions Club of Rutland, Home Straight, and the Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland, Dr Sarah Furness.
The first coffee morning will be held on Wednesday, July 10th, at the following location:
Tesco
96 South Street
Oakham

This is a great chance for veterans in Oakham to connect with each other, enjoy some coffee, and build a strong support network.
