Oakham Castle will be the heart of celebration on Saturday, September 14th as the community comes together for Rutland Day. This annual event, running from 10 am to 4 pm
The Ferrer's Household will be bringing history to life with medieval re-enactments and games, while the Rutland Farm Park will add a touch of farmyard fun with their "funny" goats.
Beyond the entertainment, visitors will have the chance to learn more about Rutland's heritage. The Oakham Canal Project Team will be on hand to discuss their work, and the Rutland Choral Society will be captivating audiences with performances at 1 pm and 2 pm.
For those seeking a more active experience, Rutland Morris will be dancing at 11 am before embarking on a walking tour. Additionally, Root-and-Branch Out will be hosting a 'wildflower seed ball' making workshop, perfect for nature enthusiasts.
