Whilst working for Rutland Radio Rob decided a beard 
might be a good thing, the listeners of his breakfast show 
voted it must go!  

Local radio presenter Rob Persani was recognised for his longstanding contributions to the Rutland and Stamford community at the Stamford Town Council's outgoing Mayor's charity awards. Rob Persani, who has been a familiar voice on local radio throughout Rutland and Stamford for nearly 25 years, received a special award from Cllr Andrew Croft.

The award acknowledged Rob Persani's dedication to serving the local community through his work on the radio and within the community, His engaging personality and commitment to highlighting local news, events, and stories have made him a popular figure in the area.
