Rutland County Museum Celebrates Local Creativity with RALSS Exhibition

Rutland County Museum Celebrates Local Creativity with RALSS Exhibition

Rutland County Museum is proud to present a new exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of students and staff from the Rutland Adult Learning and Skills Service (RALSS). The exhibition will run until Saturday, November 9th.

This vibrant display features a diverse range of artwork created by RALSS participants. Visitors can expect to see stunning pieces of ceramics, sculptures, watercolour paintings, drawings, and mixed media creations. These works demonstrate the breadth and depth of artistic exploration fostered by RALSS art classes.

RALSS instructors guide students through various techniques and styles used by artists throughout history, inspiring them to tap into their creativity and expand their artistic horizons.

Councillor Diane Ellison, Portfolio Holder for Adults and Health at Rutland County Council, encourages the public to visit the exhibition:

"We would really encourage members of the public to take the opportunity to come and view this new exhibition. It is clear that a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating these impressive pieces of art, and we are pleased to be able to showcase their talent."

RALSS offers a wide range of learning opportunities beyond art and ceramics, including language courses, formal qualifications in various subjects, and skill development workshops.

The RALSS art and ceramics exhibition is free to visit and is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

Don't miss this chance to celebrate local creativity at the Rutland County Museum!
