The Exton Estate is a historic English estate located in Rutland, England.

The Exton Estate is a historic English estate located in Rutland, England. It has been the home of the Noel family, the Earls of Gainsborough, for over four centuries. The estate dates back to the 12th century and has been visited by many famous people, including Shakespeare and Handel.

The current Earl of Gainsborough is Anthony Baptist Noel, who succeeded as the 6th Earl of Gainsborough in 2009. The family has faced financial difficulties in the past, leading to the sale of some of their land. However, they remain one of the largest landowners in the county.

Exton Hall, the main house on the estate, was built in the 19th century and is now used for various purposes, including weddings, corporate events, and film shoots. The estate also includes the ruins of the original Tudor mansion, which burned down in the early 19th century.
