Sponsored by Adams & Sons, this popular event sees a fascinating array of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles converge in the heart of Uppingham. It’s a fantastic opportunity to wander through the Market Place and High Street, admiring these beautifully maintained machines before they embark on their historical journey.
The Stilton Cheese Classic Vehicle Run isn't just a display of gleaming chrome and roaring engines; it's a nostalgic nod to a bygone era of transport. The route of the run retraces the old country lanes used to deliver the renowned Stilton cheese from its original production site at Quenby Hall in Hungarton, Leicestershire, to the Bell Inn at Stilton in Cambridgeshire – the very place that lent its name to the celebrated cheese.
