Get ready for an unforgettable evening with Reverend Richard Coles on his Borderline National Trinket Tour Show! This is your chance to dive into the extraordinary life of the nation's beloved vicar, a man whose journey spans from 80s pop stardom to the pulpit and beyond.

Reverend Richard Coles, known for his trademark wit and warmth, will share candid reflections and hilarious anecdotes from his incredibly diverse career. You'll hear stories from his time as one half of The Communards, where he achieved a UK number-one hit with "Don't Leave Me This Way," making him the only vicar to have a chart-topping record. He'll also take you behind the scenes of his most memorable moments in the spotlight, including his appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and his recent charming run to the final of ITV's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

After leaving the music industry, Richard pursued a theology degree and was ordained in 2005, serving as a parish priest until his retirement in 2022. Many will also recognize him from his long-standing role as co-host of BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live and his regular contributions to BBC Radio 2’s Pause for Thought. A familiar face on television, he's been a guest on shows like Have I Got News For You and QI, and has presented documentaries such as Channel 4's Good Grief?.

Beyond his broadcasting career, Richard is also a highly successful author. His memoir, Fathomless Riches, and the Sunday Times bestsellers The Madness of Grief and Murder Before Evensong have captivated readers. His new novel, A Death On Location, is set to be released this summer.

A "National Trinket" or a "National Treasure"?

While many consider him a national treasure, Richard himself might disagree, perhaps preferring the "trinket" label! Regardless, this show offers a wonderful opportunity for an intimate evening with one of the UK’s most distinctive voices. Expect a night filled with anecdotes from a life well-lived, a bit of gossip, plenty of wit and wisdom, and a Q&A session that can—and likely will—go absolutely anywhere. From his jungle adventures to the truly unexpected, no topic is off-limits!

Following phenomenal demand last year, Reverend Richard Coles is back with a limited run of new dates for his first-ever full national tour. Don't miss this unique chance to spend an evening with a man who truly embodies the extraordinary.
