Oakham Rugby Football Club is officially opening its doors to the next generation of players, launching a recruitment drive for their Colts squad. Aimed at 16 to 18-year-olds, the club is looking to bolster its ranks for the upcoming season, offering a blend of competitive sport and a supportive community atmosphere.

Whether you are a seasoned fly-half or have never touched a rugby ball in your life, Oakham RFC is emphasizing a "no experience, no problem" approach.

The Colts program is designed to bridge the gap between youth and senior rugby, focusing on four key pillars, The club prides itself on being inclusive, welcoming all ability levels into a growing, social squad. 

Training sessions are structured and led by experienced coaches every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7 PM.

Through planned fixtures and development games, players can build their confidence and technical skills on the pitch.

The program provides a clear trajectory for players looking to eventually progress into the Oakham RFC senior teams.
