Wing WI Marks Century Milestone with Special Celebration Fair
Wing Women's Institute is preparing for a major community milestone as it celebrates its 100th year with a special celebration fair.
The event will take place this coming Saturday, 26th September, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wing Village Hall. Visitors can look forward to a wide array of attractions and activities, including:
Delicious homemade cakes, savories, pastries, and preserves, alongside general refreshments.
Handcrafted items for sale and local historical archives.
Special displays showcasing the history of Wing WI, previous speakers, and artwork created by WI members.
A gardening stall featuring plants and bulbs for sale, a tombola, a raffle, and much more.
All proceeds raised during the 100th-anniversary celebration will go toward replacing the local WI bench.
