Spooky Fun for a Good Cause Cottesmore Parish Council Announces 2026 Halloween Kids Disco

Families looking for a frightfully good time this autumn are in luck, as the Cottesmore Parish Council Events Team prepares to host its upcoming Halloween Kids Disco 2026. Designed to offer a fantastic afternoon of entertainment, the event combines seasonal celebration with community fundraising.

Event Details

• Date: October 31, 2026

• Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Location: Cottesmore Scouts Hut (located right behind the Village Hall)

• Admission: Free entry

What’s On Offer

The afternoon is packed with activities tailored to keep children entertained, including:

• A lively kids disco

• A festive costume competition

• Spooky games

• Face painting and a scavenger hunt (available for a small additional cost)

• Food and drink available to purchase on-site

Fundraising for the Community

While entry to the disco is completely free, all proceeds raised from the supplementary activities, food, and attractions will go directly toward funding the Austhrop Play Park redevelopment. It is a brilliant opportunity for local families to enjoy Halloween together while directly investing in a safer, upgraded play space for the community.
