Music in Lyddington continues its stellar 2026 concert season on Saturday, 19th September, welcoming the award-winning Kleio String Quartet to the historic setting of St. Andrew’s Church (LE15 9LR). The performance begins at 7:30 PM.

Formed in 2019 at the Seiji Ozawa International Chamber Academy, the quartet features Yume Fujise (violin), Katherine Yoon (violin), Jaren Ziegler (viola), and Gerard Flotats (cello). The ensemble is rapidly building an international reputation, having clinched First Prize and the Commission Prize at the 2023 Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition. Audiences across the UK will also recognize them from their tenure as BBC New Generation Artists (2024–2026) and their recent celebrated appearance at the Edinburgh International Festival.

• Smetana – Quartet No. 1 in E minor, "From My Life"

• Britten – Quartet No. 1 in D, Op. 25
