On Monday, 9 March 2026, the Rotary Club of Uppingham invites you to the iconic Falcon Hotel for a celebratory breakfast that promises more than just a morning meal it’s a call to action and a celebration of local excellence.

The highlight of the morning will be a panel of three distinguished guest speakers, each representing a different pillar of leadership and service in our community:

Sarah Furness: As the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland, she brings a wealth of experience regarding civic duty and the importance of community cohesion.

Henrietta O'Connor: The Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Leicester University, offering insights into the evolving landscape of higher education and academic leadership.

Melanie Finnemore: A Crew Manager for the Leicester and Rutland Fire Service, sharing her unique perspective on breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field.
