Rutland County Council, A minute’s silence was held for Lord Kimble who passed away on 26 March

At the last full council meeting a minutes silence was held for Lord Kimble who passed away on 26 March 2014

A Tory Councillor said he "lived for Rutland" he should have added the Rutland Elite in particular those who support killing animals for fun.

Lord Kimble was also a Rutland County Councillor in the 1950's

Lord Kimball, died aged 85, was Conservative MP for Gainsborough from 1956 to 1983 and the last of the Commons’ great country gentlemen. according to the Telegraph Obituary  Ruddy of cheek, he was described by a friend as “straight out of an 18th-century hunting field... Looks as if he has port for breakfast, a very good guy who pours proper drinks.”

Drink not uncommon amongst the old style Rutland Tory, some claim it helps them think straight?

A memorial service was held at Oakham Parish Church this week
