Adam Barker and Jamie North at Leicester Crown Court on murder charge following death of Neil Corby in Oakham
The two men charged with murdering Oakham man Neil Corby have appeared in court Monday
Adam
Barker, 33, of Willoughby Gardens, Oakham, and Jamie North, 33, of Glen
Drive, Oakham, appeared at Leicester Crown Court for a
preliminary hearing.
The men are accused of murdering Mr Corby, 42, of Gaol Street, Oakham, on Wednesday, September 19.
North is also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm to another man.
Barker is also charged with unlawful wounding causing grievous bodily harm to another man.
They will be back in court on November 26 to enter pleas.
They were again refused bail and remain in custody.
Mr Corby’s body was found in a ground floor flat in Gaol Street on the morning of September 20.
Police had been called to the flat at about 7.30am where they made the discovery.
An inquest into Mr Corby’s death has been opened and adjourned
