Alice Thomson Columnist and Interviewer on The Times "The police are no longer fit for purpose" Leics Police Chief Constable Simon Cole annoyed.
On the 16th September 2015, The Times published an article written by Alice Thomson.
Her article appears to have annoyed chief constable Simon Cole so much, he tweeted about it and
then wrote a letter to The Times for publication. Today he tweets and complains
about the lack of publication of his letter.
He appears to expect a response within less than 7 days. It is a great shame his force
does not work with such expected speed and efficiency.
Leicestershire Police Anti Corruption Unit are very slow they started an investigation in 2013, I am still waiting for the investigation concluded and compensation to be settled it's now 2015.
I know Mr Cole and the local establishment are not as fond of my blog as they are The Times,
a few of them do read my blog so I am happy to publish his letter, perhaps he could also
send it to the Rutland Times. They publish anything from local establishment figures.
