Rutland County Council to consider allowing Councillors access to the council car pool scheme
at the first meeting of 2015 Rutland County Councillors are likely to allow themselves free
open access to publicly funded cars leased to Rutland County Council.
I am guessing councillor have noticed how often these cars sit unused in the car park.
Also UKIP are set to receive an additional allowance of £1000 a year as the council recognises
them as a political group.
Strangely the Lib Dem councillors don't consider themselves political.
Rutland County Council is political odd.
Councillor are likely to once again freeze their allowances.
Although future years may see these payments index linked to Officers’ NJC pay awards and may take effect from the beginning of the 2015/2016 municipal year.
