Barrowden street party by the Exeter Arms Today

Barrowden

Saturday at 4 o'clock a street party by the Exeter Arms. If wet marquee will be used. It is hoped many people will come dressed in Red, White and Blue to mark a royal occasion or maybe a fashion from an earlier age. Children might enjoy 1950s fashion or dressed as a prince or princess.

Bring your own picnic which you may be for your own family or you may choose to bring something to share with others. Some of the planning group would like to encourage a "bring & share" party. Choose whichever suits you. By bringing our own enables family and friends from other places to join in the fun.

Children's activities for all ages including races on the village green plus other quieter fun events. Competition for the best dressed Royal teddy or soft toy.
Ice cream van available.

Family disco in the marquee 6.30 to 8 o'clock led by Richard Holder.
Phil and Sandy Wood will provide their excellent BBQ.

The Exeter Arms with the new landlords Tom and Joanne Wade will be open.

Raffle prizes. "Gifts for the Queen's birthday."

A varied range of gifts will be welcome. Please leave in the shop.

Donations to help with expenses will be much appreciated as it is hoped that it will be a "free fun day" for all the community.

Please leave any donations at the shop.
