Armed Forces Day Oakham Town Council Event 28th June 2014, Cannon Fire, Church Bells, 1812 Overture

Oakham Town Councillors Joyce Lucas and Charles Haworth will be celebrating war in Cutts Close Oakham, Celebrating World War One.

They have organised a free concert in Cutts Close.

Cllr Joyce Lucas says "there will be a free concert given by the Rutland Concert Band in Cutts Close.
Proms in the park will contain many old favourites"

Cllr Lucas who dislikes dogs says "be aware, if you are bringing your pet dog, there will be cannon fire to accompany the 1812 Overture"

"The soloist Caroline Trutz will sing Rule Brittania, Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem"

"There will be flag waving and audience participation"

"Bring your flags and Singing voices"

Donations for Help for Heroes
