Catmos Sports Oakham Swimming Pool Closure Rutland County Council
Rutland County Councillors will have to decide to what to do with Oakham's swimming pool which is currently closed. The pool is likely to remain closed until next year. I notice from the council own risk assessment that they are concerned about public opinion, The council has received adverse comments and they say they have passed them to SLL. I don't know what department that is, I can only assume that is code for the department of sending out hate communications for be critical of the authority.
The council has wasted hundreds of thousands on this pool.
Why was a new one not built at the time the college was built.
That maybe the wrong suggestion as the council did of course supervise the building of a sports hall that ended up being not suitable for the use use of
the school pupils.
